Kale Group shares its 50th anniversary jubilance with its business partners in
Kale Group, which incorporates many brands, all leaders in their fields like Çanakkale Seramik, Kalebodur, Kalekim, Kaleterasit, RocaKale, Kalecolor, Kaledekor and Kalekalıp celebrated its success of 50 years left behind in Istanbul with founder and Honorary President Ibrahim Bodur and Chairman of the Board Zeynep Bodur Okyay as hosts with the leading names in politics, business and the media beside its dealers, business partners and sector representatives.
Close to two thousand guests including Minister of Public Work and Habitation Faruk Özak, former Minister of Industry and Trade Ali Coşkun, Istanbul Governor Muammer Güler, Çanakkale Governor Orhan Kırlı and members of Parliaments, mayors, district governors and mayors of various districts, university presidents, certain military commanders and chairmen of chambers attended the celebration.
At the function held at Lütfü Kırdar Convention Palace, the 50 year success story and contributions to the industry of Kale Group were shared with guests. After speeches by Ibrahim Bodur and Zeynep Bodur Okyay, a short segment of the prepared documentary was shown. Those attending the event spent pleasurable hours with the concert by Sertap Erener and Fahir Atakoğlu.
Describing the basic principles of Kale Group’s achievements in his speech, Ibrahim Bodur said; “I believe that Turkey could only develop through industrialization and this industrialization should start from Anatolia. I worked relentlessly in this path. I fully believe that future generations will continue with the principles of Kale Group”.
In her speech at the event, Zeynep Bodur Okyay who said that the name Kale Group today is at a point mentioned with trust and respect, added; “The joint effort of all of us is Turkey’s taking its place in the developing world. As Kale Group, we operated in many fields which we believed were important for our country as Kale Group to that end. We did everything we have to do for carrying Turkey to a better future. Stating that they were justifiably proud of exporting over 60 countries today, achieving sales of 1.2 billion Dollars a year, hence contributing to the welfare of Turkey by adding value, Bodur said; “We still have a lot to do. Our past will be the guarantee for our future in our future plans and targets”.
